Much of The WMNC’s programming will focus on children and families.  The children and young adults of Chenango County and all of Central New York represent the future of this area.  The connections they make with the natural world and the awareness they develop of the web of life will be reflected in their decisions and actions as adults. 

It is extremely important that we provide them with a Nature Center that delivers environmental education and exposure to the outdoors and all things natural and wild that are and once were native to this area of New York State. By doing so, we can help future generations to explore, understand, and protect their natural environments.  Furthermore, environmental education and specifically wolf education can provide children with a unique perspective and strong skills that positively influence all aspects of their lives.

On site fields trips are now available by appointment. School, corporate, and camp groups are welcome. We can customize a program to fit the needs of different age groups or present on a specific topic. Please call (607-627-6784) for more information and costs of bringing your group.
