We have three major fundraising projects underway.
1. The WOLF GROVE . We have the need to build a larger enclosure that will be the home for 5-7 wolves. The location is perfect, spacious, well drained, mixed hardwood and conifers with a pond. This enclosure will allow for observation of pack dynamics in as natural a setting possible and will offer a raised viewing walkway which will be partially enclosed with camera ports.
We are asking individuals, families, corporations and groups to Buy a Wolf Grove Post for the enclosure with a $100.00 donation or more and the donors names will be listed on a plaque that will be displayed at the Gift Shop.COST:$70,000

2. The Grey Wolf Interpertive Center will be the name of the Wolf Mountain Nature Center Education building and will house the WOLF DEN Gift Shop The Gift shop will feature quality wolf and nature related gifts and will also offer locally produced maple syrup and hand made items. The Wolf Den Gift Shop will also serve as the entrance into the nature center and be available for presentations and meetings concerning environmental education and environmental issues. We are in need of a building. Please help us make this dream a reality!
A small log cabin kit would be very nice! Funds are being collected to purchase materials to build at least a 24’x24’ log or log sided rustic looking structure very much like the cabin pictured above. Additionally volunteers with carpentry skills are needed to help with building construction. Donations of building materials or gift certificates at local building centers would also be appreciated.
